Battle of St Vincent Commemorative Lunch and Lecture

To commemorate Nelson’s first great victory in 1797, The Nelson Society returns to The Union Jack Club for this ever popular fixture.

Dr John Morewood, Chairman of the Waterloo Association,will give the St Vincent Lecture entitled:

‘The Senior Service – the role of the Royal Navy in the Peninsular War’.

The Union Jack Club is a private members’ club for members of His Majesty’s Armed Forces, just one minute’s walk from exit 2 Waterloo Station, easily accessible from all parts of the UK.The event will take place in the Gascoigne Suite (lower ground level).

Dress: Jacket and Tie.

Guests: very welcome.

Price: £50 per person to include Lecture, Buffet Luncheon with a glass of wine or soft drink, plus tea & coffee (Early arrivals/other drinks: please purchase at the Bar on the ground floor).
